LS of South Africa was appointed by Ericsson for perform predictive EMF simulations and site surveys for mobile sites in South Africa.
This involves simulations and site surveys for operational (Rooftop, Indoor and Greenfield) and planned (Rooftop, Low Profile lamp-pole type and Greenfield) sites. EMF radiation from all operators at a site are considered.
Based on the above mentioned assessments, Ericsson ensures that exclusion zones are identified and appropriate access control and signage are present to ensure protection against over exposure.
